I think they are theres aot of flashing and loud sounds.
Vance Packard exposed the mad ad-men in 1957 and his book , "The Hidden Persuaders" , is still a key text if you want to understand how these mind manipulators work ... the last 50-odd years have merely seen the techniques he described being so purely refined that they are almost impossible to see . . . they are not legally allowed to use subliminal "blipverts" but then again , they don't need to . . .
