Let's make it simple and say that ontology is the study of the RCS - How do you and I live and found here. Mainstream science can give us some response, the central part. However, the ends of the structure could not be helped by science because science deals only with physical reality. Life is much, much more than you know.
Allow me to break into three compartments pleasant and manageable.
Scientists can observe on the ground, mystical (That would be me) see the mind or consciousness.
