Is stage hypnotism real or fake?
I am of the STRONG opinion that it is fake. My opinion is that a bunch of outgoing people go on stage, a few are immediately eliminated to make the remanding participants try to compete harder (act) for the attention and approval of the audience. I was just at a show and my naive girlfriend got mad at me every time I would make a comment about how fake it was. She unquestionably accepts it as science. Any reputable SOURCES would be appreciated, not just opinions please unless you have a doctorate.
